Dear households of the United Jewish School,
UJS’s primary objective is keeping our students safe. We are aware of the concerning situation in Colleyville, TX. We want you to know that we are taking this news very seriously.
In light of this, I have hired a second armed security officer to keep our students safe tomorrow morning. I will also be reviewing the active shooter plan with our teachers.
We Jews are, unfortunately, not strangers to scary situations. However, we are a people of strength and resilience. Please DO send your children tomorrow morning. Our Jewish pride and the power of education is at the core of our identity.
